Express Yourself

Two words can bring down an empire (Quit India),
One dream can change the world (Martin Luther King).
One raised finger can break a billion hearts(Sachin Tendulakar),
Two can win a world war (Franklin Roosevelt).
A whisper can inspire hope (A prayer),
A touch can instill faith .
Some voices can move a nation (Lata Mangeshkar),
Some can dissolve boundaries (Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan).
One act of defiance can spark a revolution,
Hundred thousand candles can end a war.

That’s the power of human expression.

Shiv Nadr on Power Turks,CNBC- No Bastard is ever remembered for dying for his country, he is remembered for helping another bastard die for his country.

They just showed a clipping of his quote. My guess is as good as yours on what could have followed this or what preceded this statement. Well I interpret this in two ways: One is where the Boss gets his employees to slog and takes the credit for the good work they do. See this in a more optimistic way where the boss is a good leader and gets the best of his employees. He manages to keep them motivated as they deliver the goods and help the firm scale new heights. You need to have the best people working for you to be the best in the industry. If customer is king then employee is God and the stuff inside their head is priceless.

Another interpretation could be the Reliance strategy in the early
days.Crush your opponent, trample over him and get to the top… That’s business the Dhirubahi Ambani way.

To a friend: At times we are fortunate/blessed that God doesn’t shower us with all that we desire.
