I have ample time to kill, four and half hours before my flight for Bombay takes off.Shaiz and myself head to the Iway at the Kolkata airport…two things to do,orkutting and a visit to The Merry Muses to complete the unfinished busines.Im scheduled to touch down in Bombay at 20.00 hrs.If the flight sticks to the schedule and the traffic at that hour is as always, I should be feasting on Mere Maa de hathan diyan pakiyan rotiyan at 21.30 hrs. I hope to keep this blog updated in the coming three months.
The semester has come to an end.I look at this phase in retrospect, another four great months at IITG. Its been three years I have been away from home.
The early days in Bombay were as always enjoyable. I was looking forward to this sem for many reasons; intern, EDC, acads for a change (that jump of 0.05),a new venture…
~ I started blogging (one reason for this post) and have been regular with 24 posts as yet. This has been a good experience. Something to reflect on in the years to come. I got to reading blogs of many whom I have no acquaintance with. That was fun, to read the view point of a class of junta whom I dont hang around with.
~ Took EDC to another level. The new team is now in place and ready to take charge.
~ Added Junta to my friend list and deleted a few for good. This was one healthy change. Have spent some quality time this semester in productive discussions. This is sure a takeaway. Got to learn a lot form those experiences and have realised a few more strengths.I hope to build upon them. Had been adventurous too at times, the kodak moments captured providing a refreshing time.
~ Had some bad phases. Many things didnt end up as desired and was left wanting for justice and more.Got to learn a few lessons the harsh manner but was the best way and needed too. I have changed and moved on. I hope this change is for the best.
~ Ill miss a few seniors. They were good company. The long walk with a friend last night was memorable.Hope to keep in touch with them. I observe that I had more friends whom I was close to in the class of '05 rather than the immediate senior batch.
~ I now head for my internship at L&T, Powai for a period of 2 months. Hope to make the most of it. I saw things differently as compared to my fellow batchmates and took a strong decision. I look forward to "the want to do something feeling" getting clear.
~ Will catch up with a few more friends from school/college days.Shall be meeting some after a gap of over 4 yrs.
~Three codes that I have tried to incorporate in my life
-Change is constant.
-Rules are for fools.
-Even if you manage to win a rat race you will still remain a rat.
…and I have achieved substantial success.
This was another wonderful phase of life. Will for sure cherish the moments.
P.S: A few things do not find a mention here. Some were routine(acads took up not more than three weeks in all), some prefer not to elaborate and some experiences are difficult to put in words…
